Las Vegas (Nevada) Hotels with 18+ Check-In

Las Vegas is popular for its luxurious casinos and gambling – so you may find it hard to find good hotels that allow guests that are over 18 years. The most common age requirement for booking a hotel is 21, so not every hotel will be happy to keep you. There are plenty of splendid hotels like Horseshoe Hotel, Jockey Club Suites, Desert Paraside Resort, and Holiday Inn Club Vacations but sadly, they don’t allow guests younger than 21.

Check out our list of the perfect hotels in Las Vegas to know what these have to offer – and don’t worry, we have spent many hours trying to contact them to know if their policies have changed. You can stay at these hotels without worrying about being 21.

Like always, we’ve made sure to talk about the nearby destinations, amenities, guest experience, and what luxuries you can enjoy while you’re there so you have an easier time making a decision.

Note: Make sure to call the hotels to confirm that they don't mind guests that are below 21 before you make plans to party and enjoy a glamorous vacation. As the legal drinking age in Las Vegas is 21, you won't be able to get drinks in spite of the hotels featuring luxurious bars!

10 Best Las Vegas Hotels With 18+ Check-In

Note: Most hotels require you to provide credit card and ID to verify your age before booking and serving drinks!

Other Hotels In Las Vegas For 18+ Check-In | Our Top Picks

Alternatives To Hotels In Las Vegas With 18+ Check-In

Staying in luxury hotels is great but sometimes, you may need to look for other options if you’re trying to save money or just want to explore your options. We’ve stayed our fair share in tree houses, hostels, and Airbnb, so we think we might have something to offer in this regard.

Look for Options on Reddit

This doesn’t just apply to accommodation! You can find sweet life hacks and frugal tips on Reddit and we’re sure you will run into a genius hack that will save you lots of money in the long run.

Vacation Rentals

If you’re low on budget and don’t want to book hotels, this might be the best option for you. You can find sweet deals on Airbnb and VRBO – and depending on the facilities provided, it can be as cheap as a couple of bucks. We were lucky to find a cheap tree house in the area, and it cost us way less than staying at a decent hotel.

Unlike at hotels, you may find the vacation rentals imposing religious or specific rules so you need to contact the owner for more information before showing up.

Some Airbnbs literally offer just air, bed, and breakfast, so you will need to be resourceful and find restaurants around. This sometimes means limited bath amenities, no free meals, and no ATM machine, so you need to prepare for such situations.

It’s also great if you are staying for longer durations and have friends staying with you. There are also extended stay hotels like Extended Stay America Las Vegas that provide long-term stay options – they are usually cheaper than hotels that charge you on a per-night basis.

Hostels

Hostels offer shared accommodation for travelers, and sometimes offer food and extra facilities. It’s certainly less private than having the room to yourself but it is cheaper and you can save up a significant amount if you’re frugal about your spending habits in the city.

You can also find serviced apartments like Siegel Suites if you would rather rent an apartment-like space with a kitchen and amenities.

We recommend popular hostels like Vegas Hostel and USA Hostels Las Vegas and taking care of your valuables so they don’t get stolen.

Religious housing

One of the cheaper options, religious accommodations are often shared and free of cost. Several monasteries and religious homes will accept travelers and pilgrims. You shouldn’t expect to be allowed to smoke or drink here, and pets may or may not be accepted.

But if you’re up for a different experience, it’s worth giving a shot. We also recommend giving a small donation if you do stay there!

Things To Do While You’re In Las Vegas

Whether you’re a foodie or an adventure freak, the city offers plenty of excitement for everybody.

The Mob Museum, Nevada State Museum & Historical Society, and Neon Museum (with Neon signs from old casinos!) might be something you might be interested in if you’re a history buff. The Las Vegas Springs Preserve is also a fascinating spot if you like nature-friendly hikes and good music.

For foodies, the prime steaks and delicious selection of seafood at The Palm and SW Steakhouse are a must-try. We also enjoyed the fantastic options of Chinese dishes available at MR CHOW. Luckily, MR CHOW and The Palm are both located in Caesar’s Palace, so you can visit both if you’re in the area.

Nature lovers can enjoy their time in the beautiful gardens of Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens looking at a huge selection of seasonal flowers and monuments.

Caesar’s Palace is also a haven for shoppers, so while you’re there, make sure to take sneak a peek at the boutiques and luxury outlets in Las Vegas. We also recommend trying out the Michelin-starred Fresh cuisines at Le Cirque (Bellagio-based) and Joel Robuchon (in MGM Grand).

And did we mention the Gordon Ramsay Steakhouse?

Las Vegas Casino

The city of Las Vegas is renowned for having grand casinos- the Bellagio, Venetian, and Caesar’s Palace. And there is also Fremont Street that’s always cheerful with lights and exciting performances!

Tip: Las Vegas is very safe for travelers but make sure you're not spending too much in casinos. It's quite hard to beat them at their own game!

The city is great but if you want to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere, you can visit the parks or just stay at the hotel. Some hotels have golf courses nearby and you can have a fun time without the crowd.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you check into a hotel at 18 in Vegas?

You certainly can! Guests who are 18 can check into Las Vegas hotels and enjoy their time. This, however, does depend on hotel policies and many hotels have a strict minimum age requirement of 21 years. You can find hotels that accept 18-year-olds, and that’s exactly the list we’ve tried to compile here.

What can an 18-year-old do in Vegas?

18-year-olds cannot drink or gamble in Vegas but they can do lots of fun things. They can enjoy delicious steaks and seafood in the best steakhouses in the world and dine in luxurious restaurants. Museums like Neon Museum and Mob Museum welcome young guests, and they can also spend some time enjoying the nightlife around the city.

Do any casinos in Vegas allow 18-year-olds?

While it’s definitely exciting to watch a game of gambling, it’s illegal in Las Vegas to allow anybody under the age of 21 into the gaming floor even if they’re only there to watch. 18-year-olds can enter casinos but won’t be allowed to enter gaming areas.

Conclusion

Summing up, there are many budget hotels in Las Vegas that not only allow 18+ check-in but also offer a luxurious stay. Our selection of Las Vegas hotels included both budget and lavish hotels that will satisfy your curiosity. Though you aren’t able to get drinks if you’re under 21, the city still has plenty to offer as far as tourist destinations and the variety of cuisines are concerned.

The amenities you might get depend on the hotel you book while some do allow pets and don’t mind you asking for extra beds, other hotels have strict policies against pets. Similarly, parking isn’t free everywhere, so you may want to research this beforehand.
